॥ इति श्रीरावणकृतं शिव ताण्डवस्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम् ॥
The one whose throat is bleached by the streams of Ganga flowing from his dense, forest-like hair, the one who has garlands of big and long snakes hanging around his neck, and the one who performs ferocious tandav by playing dum-dum damru, May that Lord Shiva bless us.
In the hair of Lord Shiva, in whose hair the waves of Goddess Ganga are moving with great speed and luxuriantly, are fluttering on his head, on whose forehead the fierce flames of fire are burning brightly, my love for that child, adorned with the moon, is every moment. Keep growing.
Those who remain extremely happy in the blissful and delightful sarcasms of Parvatrajsuta (Parvati Ji), in whose head resides the entire creation and living beings, and whose mere grace removes all the troubles of the devotees, such Digambaras (wearing the sky like clothes) May my mind always remain happy by worshiping Lord Shiva.
May I rejoice in the devotion of that Lord Shiva, who is the support and protector of all living beings, whose light of the beads of the snake's hood wrapped in his hair, illuminates the directions with the glow of saffron in the form of a yellow-coloured aura and who is adorned with elephant skin.
May that Chandrashekhar, whose feet are stained with the dust of the flowers from the heads of gods like Indra, Vishnu etc. (to whom the gods offer flowers from their heads), and whose red snake resides in his hair, may he grant us wealth for ever.
Lord Shiva, who, burning the pride of the Indradi gods, destroyed Kamadeva with the fire of his huge head, and who is worshiped by all the gods and is adorned by the moon and Ganga, may he grant me success.
My love for that Shiva ji, whose fierce flame throbbing from his head incinerated Kamadeva and who is very clever in painting the front part of Shiva Parvati's breast (here Parvati is nature, and painting is creation). Be firm.
May Lord Shiva grant us all kinds of prosperity, whose throat is as black as the new moon night, filled with new clouds, who is adorned with grass, Ganges and childish moon and who bears the burden of the world. .
Whose neck and shoulders are adorned with the beautiful dark light of a fully bloomed blue lotus, who is the destroyer of Kamadeva and Tripurasura, the destroyer of the sorrows of the world, the destroyer of Dakshayagya, the destroyer of Gajasura and Andhakasura and the one who controls death. , I worship that Lord Shiva.
I worship Lord Shiva who is auspicious, indestructible, who tastes the essence of all the arts, who burns Kamadeva to ashes, the destroyer of Tripurasur, Gajasur, Andhakasur, the destroyer of Dakshayagya and also the embodiment of Yama for Yamraj himself.
Lord Shiva, engrossed in the Tandava dance with the auspicious high dhim-dhim sound of the Mridanga, amidst the fierce fire which has increased in his forehead due to the hiss of the snakes moving with great speed, is becoming adorned in every way.
I worship Shiva who has equal vision on hard stones and soft beds, snakes and pearl garlands, precious gems and pieces of clay, enemies and friends, kings and subjects, straws and lotuses.
When will I attain eternal happiness while residing in the Kachargun of Ganga Ji, being honest, wearing Anjali on my head and chanting the mantra of Lord Shiva with playful eyes and forehead?
May the beauty of the body parts of Mahadev Ji, the abode of supreme splendor, bewitch with the fragrant melody falling from the garlands of flowers woven on the heads of the Devanganas, always increase the happiness of our hearts filled with ecstasy.
May the auspicious sound of singing Shiva's song at the time of marriage of girls with female form, animadic Ashtamahasiddhis and playful eyes, in burning sins like the mighty Vadvanal, complemented by Shiva Mantra, the best of all mantras, may destroy the worldly sorrows and attain victory.
By merely reading or listening to this excellent Shiva Tandava Stotra daily, the being becomes pure, gets established in the Supreme Guru Shiva and becomes free from all kinds of illusions.
At the end of the morning Shiva puja, by singing this Ravana-written Shivtandvastotra, Goddess Lakshmi remains stable and the devotee is always blessed with wealth like chariots, yards, horses etc.
